Slovenian Sani Bečirovič finally found a new club for next season. After negotiations with Türk Telekom Ankara in the last few days, the 29-year-old guard decided to wear the Turkish outfit for the next two years. Last season the Slovenian international played in his home country for Olimpija, but later decided to move to Milano, where he played nine games in the Euroleague, averaging 12.9 points, 3.3 assists, 3 rebounds and 1 steal.
Bečirovič started his career 15 years ago with Bistrica, playing afterwards for Pivovarna Laško, Olimpija (two seasons), Virtus Bologna, Krka Novo Mesto, Varese, Fortitudo Bologna, Panathinaikos and Roma. This year he helped the Slovenian national team achieve the 8th place at the World Championship.
Türk Telekom reached the quarter-finals of the Turkish playoffs last season, losing 3-1 to Beşiktaş.
