News: Raduljica heading to Efes Pilsen

Miroslav Raduljica finally found himself a new club for next season. After intense controversy and various rumours, the Serbian centre will play for one of the first clubs that showed interest signing him, Efes Pilsen. The deal is not official yet, but the Turkish runner-up reached an agreement with the former club of the 22-year-old, FMP Železnik, which was unwilling to let the player go if certain conditions were not met. Raduljica will sign a five-year contract.
The Serbia national team player will join fellow countryman Igor Rakočević and will be under the orders of newly appointed head coach Velimir Perasović.
Last season Raduljica averaged 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists in the Adriatic League.

After the dismissal of Ergin Ataman, Efes Pilsen decided to look abroad and hired Velimir Perasović as their new head coach. The Croatian, who had been in Cibona since 2008, signed a two-year deal with the Turkish powerhouse and will look to redeem a team loaded with stars last season but which failed to win anything and lost the Turkish title to rivals Fenerbahçe.
The 45-year-old Perasović gave Cibona it's second consecutive Croatian title last season, but could not avoid the loss to Partizan in the Adriatic League final. Among his achievements are also a Copa del Rey, a Euroleague Final Four appearence and the runner-up status in 2004-2005 ACB while coaching Baskonia. He previously was at the helm of Cajasol Sevilla and Estudiantes.

After one season in Spain, Ermal Kuqo (Kurtoğlu) is back to Turkey. The Turkish-Albanian centre, who was still unsigned for this season, returned to Efes Pilsen where he had spent five years.

After leaving Dynamo Moscow and weighing his options for two months Boštjan Nachbar made up his mind and will not return to the NBA. Although the Slovenian forward had offers from American teams, he instead signed a one-year contract with Efes Pilsen and might opt to stay for yet another year. What essentially made Nachbar put pen to paper was the fact that the Turkish champion has ambitious plans for the next two seasons, which Igor Rakočević's hiring is also a sign.
This season in the Eurocup, Nachbar averaged 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals in 13 games for the Moscow team.

Igor Rakočević will change Spain for Turkey. Targeted by Siena and Efes Pilsen, the 30-year-old guard decided to join the latter for the next two seasons with a possible extension for another. This is the first transfer for next season of the recently crowned Turkish champion.
