News: Guinea-Bissau has a new headcoach (Notícia: Guiné-Bissau tem novo seleccionador)

Portuguese José Abrantes has been hired as the new Guinea-Bissau headcoach. Besides leading the senior national team, the other main task of Abrantes from now on is to rebuild the country's basketball structure. The immediate goal is to qualify the national team for Afrobasket 2011, while the Lusophony Games will be an important preparation tournament.
The preliminary list of players (some others will gather) was also presented by Abrantes:

(O português José Abrantes foi contratado como novo seleccionador da Guiné-Bissau. Para além de orientar a selecção sénior, a outra tarefa principal de Abrantes será a de reconstruir o basquetebol do país. O objectivo imediato é a qualificação da selecção para o Afrobasket 2011, sendo que os Jogos da Lusofonia serão um importante torneio de preparação.
