Bosnian Kenan Bajramović will continue his career in Germany. The 28-year-old power forward confirmed he has a deal with former German champions Alba Berlin, despite offers from Spain (Unicaja Málaga) and Turkey (Türk Telekom Ankara), and will start working with his new team in September, as Bosnia did not manage to go through to the next stage in Eurobasket 2009 additional qualifying round.
Bajramović described the move as "the best solution" for his career at the moment.
Last season with the jersey of BC Kyiv, from which he was released because of financial problems, the Bosnian international averaged 11.6 points and 6.4 rebounds in the EuroChallenge.

Reigning German champions Alba Berlin downed Baskets Bonn 44-69 and claimed the German Cup Top Four yesterday. The Berlin team takes the place of Artland Dragons (which beat Ludwigsburg last year) and reconquers the trophy which had been escaping them since 2006. Julius Jenkins led the winners with 25 points and 6 rebounds, followed by Immanuel McElroy with 10 points and Aleksandar Nađfeji with 9 and 5 rebounds. Ken Johnson was Bonn's best player with 13 points and 5 blocks.
Frankfurt Skyliners and Giants Düsseldorf fought for the third place with the former winning by 69-73.
