After 17 years dribbling the ball, Víctor Luengo decided to put an end to his playing career. The 35-year-old Spanish guard, who is mostly remembered by his many years with Pamesa Valencia, was currently in his second year om LEB Gold's side Gandía Bàsquet. The most memorable moments in Luengo's career were the Copa del Rey title in 1998 and the ULEB Cup (now Eurocup) trophy in 2003, both with the club of his life, where he played from 1993 to 2007.
Luengo did not rule out the possibility of returning to Pamesa Valencia to help the club in managing issues.
