Sofoklis Schortsanitis fled to the USA to negotiate contract terms with the Los Angeles Clippers and most likely to make a move to the NBA. Accounting for that is the fact that the Greek national team centre is being accompanied by his personal trainer to ensure his best physical condition. Moreover, Sofo will also be shown some houses, one of those possibly being his in a very near future.
Selected by the Clippers in the 2003 NBA draft, Schortsanitis was the MVP of last season's Greek All-Star game and had a season of recovery from overweight and shape-wise. In Olympiacos for the last four years, he averaged 7.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in the Euroleague last season. He previously played for Aris, Cantù and Iraklis.

News: Aco Petrović to sign for Žalgiris
After sacking Darius Maskoliūnas and handing the helm of the club to players, Žalgiris Kaunas will hire Aco Petrović as their new head coach for one season with another one as option. The 50-year-old Serbian was one of the top names on the table for the Greens, alongside Rimas Kurtinaitis, Stevan Karadžić and Aleksandar Trifunović. The reigning BBL champions have already sent the contract to Petrović, who will sign very soon.
Petrović coached Crvena Zvezda last season for just two months following financial problems. The team then failed to win any competition and lost to rivals Partizan in Serbian league's playoff semi-finals. His previous clubs include FMP Železnik, Hemofarm Vršac, Lokomotiv Rostov (now Kuban) and UNICS Kazan.

News: Vujošević heading to CSKA Moscow (Notícia: Vujošević ruma ao CSKA Moscovo)
In one of the most surprising off-season moves in Europe, CSKA Moscow secured the services of Duško Vujošević. The long-serving Partizan Montenegrin head coach will sign a three-year deal with the reigning Russian champions worth five million euros. The news is even more surprising considering CSKA's previous coach Evgeniy Pashutin was only hired last season and built on the successes of Ettore Messina, claiming the domestic title, the Russian Cup and reaching the Euroleague Final Four, where they ended third. Vujošević will count on an budget intended to hire new players.
Between 2001 and 2010, the 51-year-old "Dule" Vujošević, won nine consecutive Serbian league titles with Partizan, adding four Adriatic League championships, five Serbian Cups and the Korać Cup in 1989 for the Black and Whites. Previously he also coached Granada, Crvena Zvezda, Brescia, Pistoia, Pesaro and Radnički.
Anteriormente, orientou o Granada, Crvena Zvezda, Brescia, Pistoia, Pesaro e Radnički.)
