News: Krka gets Slovenian title (Notícia: Krka arrecada título esloveno)

Tradition is Slovenia is not what it used to be and the usual champion Olimpija did not manage to get the title this season. Krka Novo Mesto won their third title and the second in the decade as they managed to beat Olimpija away 79 to 87 in decisive game 5 of the playoff finals. The champions were already shockingly winning at halftime by 20 points (25-45) and Olimpija managed to win only the last period of the game.
Davor Marcelić paced the winners with 24 points, while Smiljan Pavič added a double-double with 14 points and 17 rebounds (he was named the finals MVP), Goran Ikonić the same number of points and Simon Petrov less one. For the runner-up Sašo Ožbolt was the topscorer with 22 points, followed by Jure Lalić with 16, Jaka Klobučar with 14 and Edin Bavčić with 12 and nine rebounds.
