As negociações com o clube espanhol estagnaram e o lituano de 29 anos decidiu assinar por duas épocas com o clube italiano, onde irá encontrar os antigos companheiros do Lietuvos Rytas, Mindaugas Katelynas e Hollis Price. Maccabi Telavive e Khimki estavam também interessados no jogador.
