Recently crowned Uruguayan champion Leandro García Morales has been signed by Saba Mehr. The Uruguayan international guided Biguá to their first back-to-back title and was the MVP of the final game against Defensor Sporting. At 28, the 1.86m guard has NCAA experience, as he played for the Texas A&M Aggies for two seasons and has been a regular member of Biguá since 2004.Saba Mehr, based in Tehran, won the Iranian title in 2007 and grabbed the bronze medal at the WABA Cup a few days ago. They are currently top the Superleague with 20 wins and 3 losses.
