Controversial and loved as much as hated my players, fans and coaches, Stephon Marbury will be back on courts after signing with NBA reigning champions Boston Celtics. Marbury hasn't played for more than a year due to different perspectives on his role in his previous team, the New York Knicks. The team finally ended up releasing him last Tuesday and the outcome that had been around for months came true with the Celtics grabbing him.In the presentation press conference the 32-year-old said he had learned with past mistakes, declaring he'll be happy with whatever role he'll get on the team. Celtics coach Doc Rivers also state not to be worried about hipothetical problems with the arrival of Marbury, reminding everyone that what happened took place in the Knicks, not in the Celtics.
Marbury will be joining triumvirate Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen who hope to conquer another championship this season, which would be Marbury's first ever.
