Last Saturday meant an historical occasion for Spanish Carlos Jiménez. The 33-year-old veteran forward managed to become the second best rebounder in the history of the Spanish league by collecting 6 rebounds (adding also 15 points) when his team Unicaja Málaga had their first win of the season by beating Murcia 84 to 54. He now totalises 3.035 rebounds, passing Claude Riley by two for the second place and behind Granger Hall (4.292).
The former Spain international had already reached the third place in the list by the end of last season. If kepping is rebound average per game (5.41) Jiménez would need 233 games to be the all-time leader.

Totaliza agora 3,035 ressaltos, mais dois do que Claude Riley e atrás de Granger Hall (4,292).
