News: CSKA parts ways with Vujošević

Confirming recent rumours, CSKA Moscow decided to sack head coach Duško Vujošević. The former Montenegro national team coach was relieved of his position following poor performances, especially in the Euroleague. The Russian champions won just one game in six played so far and the loss (71-65) to Armani Jeans Milano on Wednesday was the last straw for the club's board. Vujošević himself aknowledged the failure, citing adaptation problems and a plague of injuries among players.
Assistant Dmitry Shakulin will lead the team until a new head coach is found.
A successful coach both in Serbia and Europe, the 51-year-old Vujošević won nine consecutive Serbian league titles, four Adriatic League championships, five Serbian Cups and a Korać Cup with Partizan.
